Mr. Norman Gamble was born on December 28, 1939, to Joe and Annie Mae Gamble. He departed this life on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Coosa Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Gamble retired from Sterling Lumber Co. in Goodwater, AL. He was a man of God and a devoted member of Pleasant Home Baptist Church in Goodwater, AL. He graduated from J.D. Thompson High School in Cottage Grove, AL, and served in the United States Army.
He was welcomed into eternal rest by his loving parents: Joe and Annie Mae Gamble; two sons: Keith Allen Gamble and Kenneth Simmons; three brothers: William Gamble, Robert Gamble, and Horace Gamble; one sister: Mary Emma Woody; one sister-in-law: Dorothy Chatman; and one brother-in-law: Wilbert Woody.
Leaving behind to cherish his sweet memories are his loving, devoted wife Earnestine Hill Gamble; four children: Randy (Carla) Gamble of Kenner, LA, Constance Young of Goodwater, AL, Norma Gamble of Alexander City, AL, and Baron (Rosa) Gamble of Atlanta, GA; three sisters: Nell Dawson of Sharon, PA, Brenda (Jimmy) Johnson of Warren, OH, Bobbie McKenzie of Sharon, PA; three sister-in-laws: Christine (Robert) Gamble of Warren, OH, Myra (Horace) Gamble of Alexander City, AL, and Mattie Laura (William) Gamble of Ohio; ten grandchildren: Darquan (Shekesha) Owens of Atlanta, GA, Asia (Eric) Smith of Tampa, FL, Reginald Manning-Gamble, currently serving in Germany, Amari Johnson of Alexander City, AL, Shae’Lenzia Suttles of Myrtle Beach, SC, Hannah Gamble of Kenner, LA, Drew Gamble of Kenner, LA, Braelynn Gamble of Atlanta, GA, Addison Gamble of Atlanta, GA, and Harper Gamble of Atlanta, GA; two great grandchildren: Eric Smith III of Tampa, FL and Aiden Smith of Tampa, FL; one special nephew: Charles (Donita) Gamble; and a host of neices, nephews, cousins, friends, family, and loved ones.
