Mrs. Claudius Arwiltha Thomas

Claudius Arwiltha Thomas, 82, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 7,

2024, in Goodwater, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis.

Arwiltha was born September 17, 1942, to the late Claude Thomas and the late Sadie

B. Gaddis O'Neal.

She was a wonderful wife and mother and loved spoiling her grandchildren

and great-grandchildren. Arwiltha was the joy of her family and brought a lot of

laughter to the home. She was always there when we needed her the most, offering

support, wisdom, and love in abundance. She accepted Christ at an early age and

was a faithful member of Hatchett Springs Worship Center and served faithfully

until her death.

Mrs. Claudius Arwiltha Thomas leaves to cherish her memories four children,

Wade (Monica) Thomas, Claudette (Curtis) Fuller, Carla (Demetrius) Harrell and

Corey (Monique) Thomas; grandchildren, Curtis, Curteyon, Carlethia, Cederix,

Jazzlyn, Cameron (Terah), Ciara, Chelsea (Mario), and Chandler; great-

grandchildren, Taniyah, Chassidy, Caitlyn, Josiah, Malia, A'julia, Mario Jr, A'julius,

Cherish & Mylee; Brother, Hurchel Godfrey of Bronx, New York; Sisters, Eloise

Kelley Tuck of Goodwater, Alabama, Marion Thomas of Piscataway, New Jersey,

Marva Joyce (Daniel) Moon of Birmingham, Alabama, Janice Thomas of Alexander

City, Alabama; Sisters-in-law, Delphine Thomas and Cathy Thomas both of

Goodwater, Alabama; Special friends, Mary E. Simmons, Molly Hall, Cathy Thomas,

Rosie Kelly, Linda McKinney, Dianne Boleware, & Sarah Conner, a host of nieces,

nephews, relatives and friends.
